Minimum 1 Year experience
We are looking for a Registered Nurse to coordinate and provide nursing care to the identified patient population. Delegation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills must be utilized to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements of Nursing
- Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school required; BSN preferred
- 3-5 years experience in ED setting required
- RN license for the state of Illinois required
- CPR certification required
- ACLS, PALS, TNS, or TNCC, ENPC, ECRN certifications required depending on the department

Responsibilities of Nursing
- Accountable for accurate and timely medication administration
- Interact with physicians via rounds, procedures, and telephone interactions
- Complete admission assessments
- Advise and mentor colleagues, including the teaching and supervising of nursing students
- Demonstrate clinical competency in providing age specific care to patients in designated areas of practice
- Coordinate all aspects of patient care and outcomes as related to medication administration, education, therapeutic modalities, assessments, diagnostics, development, and revision of care plans
- Perform care rounds on each patient/family
Develop nursing care plan based on objective and subjective patient information
